Erika Deetjen – Football Coach – Fitness Coach
ABOUT THE COach
Erika Deetjen is a dedicated and passionate coach committed to fostering both the athletic and personal growth of players. With extensive experience spanning various levels of competition, Erika brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the field. Currently serving as a Head Coach for South Miami United Football Club, she oversees the development of three competitive girls’ teams, focusing on enh ancing players’ understanding of the game and elevating their skills individually and as teammates.
Erika also served as Head Coach at AGC Football Club, coaching women in competitive futsal across various skill levels. She initiated structured practices and contributed to the growth of the Lions Futbol Club’s recreational program and competitive teams. Additionally, she mentored high school athletes as Assistant Coach for boys’ varsity soccer at West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South and girls’ varsity lacrosse at Notre Dame High School, playing a vital role in their training and personal development.
Erika holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Manhattanville College, where she excelled both academically and athletically, demonstrating leadership as a team captain.
With a proven track record of leadership, mentorship, and dedication to player development, Erika continues to make a significant impact on and off the field, inspiring athletes to excel both in sports and in life.
